How to enable saving Input Forms or Reports?

Hi ALL,

I have copied a model from the default model and setup everything I need.

So I created an Input Form and tried to save the Input Form/Report but when I did so, it showed "Access Denied" (and for Server Root the option is even dimmed).

Can anyone let me know how can I enable saving the Input Form/Report to the system?

hi Antony,

You need to have "Manage Templates" task assigned to save the report to server root folder.

Steps to update security:

1. Check which is the task profile assigned to user. Security -> Users -> select the user and check the task profile of the user.

2. Then Security -> task Profile -> Select the task profile of the user -> In that task profile check whether you have "Manage Templates" task assigned in task tab. If not add it by using"Add/Remove" and save. then you will able to save the reports/input forms.

Or assign the user with the one of teh available task profile which has "Manage Templates" task.

Note: "Manage Templates" is under "Analysis and Collection" Group.

I'm using the user assigned to Default_System Admin but I still could not save the form as expected. Anything else I have to set?

Hi Antony,

have you first processed all the dims and modify application of your model?

Have you checked if you have the security rights for this model?

I have processed the model and I could build the form as expected, just could not save it.
