Hi experts ,

Regarding Batch Management i need few inputs and need to know whether this can be achieved or not..?

I need to copy the batch class characteristics from component item to Header item during subcontratcing scenaro.

During subcontracting process , the material which is issued to vendor is having some characteristic values , the same compoent value should be

reflected to the header item during GR for subcontracting PO( header item).

Is this possible..? If yes , can you please help me out.

Please let me know the necssay configuaraton to achieve this and also the master data is setup.

Regards,

Daya.

Hi Daya,

You may use the Batch derivation functionality for deriving the characteristics from component Material(s) to that of the Header materials.

Please Implement this concept and the same shall be achieved without any custom development.

Please reward me few points if useful.

Shyam
