Cross Border Consignment Automation

I have requirement of implementing the Cross Border Consignment Automation in SAP.

Moving forward I would like to completely know about what is Cross Border Consignment and the overall process flow functionally.

I know few things but a clear picture is required?

Any Document..Slides if anyone can share will be a lot help for me..

PD: I forgot, in Note 1016386 - Intrastat for Romania, you have a document so useful to do the IMG for INTRASTAT.

The process for cross border consignment stock has two steps:

  1. Sending the consignment stock physically to the customer (consignment fill-up)
  2. Creation & completion of a cross border STO to sell the stock to the receiving region.

The Second Step I want to know functionally what it is how the process flows...Functionally I want to know?

This are the steps I have to follow:-

  1. Move consignment stock to unrestricted on supplying plant for all items of the selected delivery.
  2. Crete Stock Transfer Order from supplying plant, storage location to receiving plant, storage location.
  3. Crete Replenishment Delivery for the created on the previous step STO.
  4. Goods Issue against replenishment delivery
  5. Goods Receipt against STO
  6. Move stock from unrestricted to consignment on receiving plant for all items of the selected delivery.

Hi

Thank you for sharing the process. I think both plants come under one company code. Right? And this is basically plant to plant sales purchase. I don't understand why you are saying this consignment transaction when you are selling materials with STO.

If you want to use customer consignment then why don't you go with standard consignment sales process.

And what automation you want in this process? Do you want system to perform these activities automatically or what??

Hi

I have automise the Sale order, delivery and billing document process on just one click based on some specific requirements. I am sure this can be done for STO process as well. Talk to your ABAPER and ask him to use BAPIs of every step which you do manually and create/post documents automatically in back ground. It can be a customized screen application or you may trigger the BAPIs on save event of every document.

Did you discuss this with your ABAPER?
