Changing USEREXIT CODE

Hi All,

I have an Master data infoobject showing wrong values because of incorrect code in User Exit(CMOD). This Masterdata is accessed in many data targts(Infoobject& Cubes only).

To get right values I want to change my code at EXIT_SAPLRSAP_02.

Before I do changes shall I delete

1. cube data

2. master data

Or

No need to delete any type of data. If it is the case, My Info object and cube contained incorrect data with old code(before change the code) and will contain with correct data with new code (after change the code).

Question is:

After changing and activation exit code, it atomaticaally maintains the correct data in all targets? Or not ? pls clarify?

Cheers,

Murali.

    Hi Murali,

if you have phisically written the wrong data to some infoprovider you have to delete all and load again...but if you load in BW these wrong values only in masterdata of your object...ok, it's enough to correct the exit and load with a full all again...the correct values will overwrite the wrong ones!

    Hope it helps!

    Bye,

    Roberto

    Murali,

Better delete the data and load it after changing the code in user exit.

You have to delete and reload the data from your cubes, but from your master data (attributes).

But be aware that you load the correct master data before reloading the cubes with derivation of characteristics from master data attributes.

You can reload cube data with the rebuild function in data provider administration.
