Cloud - account does not appear to be registered

Hi all

When logging on to Lumira Cloud using Google Chrome, I am getting below error. It did work initially, after I just registered.

I am still able to connect to the Cloud account through Lumira desktop.

Does anyone know how I can fix my Chrome logon? I already tried clearing cookies.

Thanks very much

Bart

Hi Bart,

Do you mind sharing the email which you use for logging on? (or feel free to send me a direct message)

I can help take a look at your account. It is probably you have multiple SAP accounts associated with the same email address.

Thanks,

Jay

Hi Jay

Unfortunately I don't have that email anymore. I just have a shortcut to cloud.saplumira.com in my browser.

Thanks for looking into this.

Hi Bart,

I believe Jay was simply asking for confirmation of your email addresses (because you may have multiple identities in the back-end infrastructure) .  So ping him a 'direct message' through this forum, to confirm your email credentials.

Hi Henry

Thanks for that clarification. I'm not able to send Jay a direct message, it seems because he is not following me. Am I doing something wrong?

Thanks

Hi Bart,

simply click on Jay's name above the message in this thread and the pop-up will have a button Direct Message at the lower right of the pop-up window.

cheers,

He can only DM if they are following each other on SCN

Only Moderators can DM everyone without followers

Bart,

What is the address of the site you are using to access Lumira Cloud?

Hi Irshaad

I connect to cloud.saplumira.com, which redirects me to https://cloud.saplumira.com/landing-page.jsp

Thanks

Bart,

I'm unable to recreate the error message myself.

A few more questions to help clarify and rectify the problem...

  • Have you been able to access it in the past?
  • Are you able to access it via a different browser?
  • Which version of Chrome are you on?
  • This may sound crazy, but you HAVE activated your account, correct?

Let's start with that for now, and hopefully we'll get to the bottom of it!

Yes it worked initially.

I just tried it with FireFox, and that doesn't work either. Same error message.

My Chrome version is 30.0.1599.69 m.

I think I did activate my account, otherwise I would not have been able to connect initially, right?

Thank you!

Thanks for answering those questions.

Still trying to figure out at which point there is an error.

When you click the "Log On" button, does it try to log you on automatically, or does a pop-up appear and ask you for your "Email, ID, or User Name" and Password?

IF IT DOES: Have you tried to click the 'Forgot Password' link? (and if so, what was the response?)

Are you able to register again, and see if that rectifies the problem?

I feel like we're getting closer to an answer!

When I click 'Log On', it tries to log me on automatically, similar to the SCN logon. So I was not able to click any 'Forgot Password' link.

How would I go about re-registering? Create a new user?

Edit: I tried registering as a new user using my existing e-mail address. System tells me the User already exists.

Thank you

Bart,

Thanks for trying that for me. It would appear that this needs to be escalated to a team that can handle specific SAP Lumira Cloud account settings. -which I cannot.

From what I can ascertain SAP ID services is auto-logging me in as well, and that is not controlled by Chrome.

I will update this as soon as I can pass on the information for who to contact in this situation.

In the meantime, let's try another workaround.

Do ALL your browsers auto log you in?

I MAY HAVE A SOLUTION ... *laughs*

I just created a new INCOGNITO window with Chrome (ctrl+shift+n | cmd+shift+n), and when I went to cloud.saplumira.com it asked to confirm my certificate, at which point I clicked 'cancel'. Which took me to the log-in screen.

You can then get to the 'Forgot Password' link there!!

Let's try it!!!!

I tried this, but once I reset my password, it said 'ERROR'. After trying to connect again in icognito mode, and entering my password, I got the same error as the one in my original message.

Also, when I then tried to log on to SCN, it told me it was trying to connect using the Lumira ID, and also threw an error. Restarting Chrome did allow me to connect to SCN again (Phew).

Okay,

Thanks for responding. I'm not sure what the problem is at this point.

Hopefully Pierre or can help!

I'll keep monitoring this, and update if I find any other ways we can make this work.

Just an update over the weekend.

We're trying to find the team that's in charge of the Cloud accounts, and we'll be directing them to this thread. We'll keep you posted!

it's my pleasure, let's hope we can get to the end of this soon! 🙂

Again, thank you for your patience~

Hi Irshaad,

I have exactly the same problem - can you forward this to a responsible support-team?

Thanks a lot,

Norbert

Norbert,

Thanks for the message, in this case you'll need to get a hold of the SAP Identity Services people.
To do this, please create an ITDirect ticket.

Hi Bijan,

ITDirect is our internal service, right? i don't think Norbert works for SAP..

What are our options here? I believe Jay Xiong works in our product group.
