Using a Calculated key figure of Basic cube in a Multi cube

I need to use the same calculated key figure which is created on a Basic cube query to be used in the Multi cube query. Is that possible?

In the multicube query if I create a new cal. Keyfigure with the same technical name as in the basic cube it doesnt accept.

Any suggestions would be appreciated and rewarded.

    Hi Kalyan,

Using transaction RSZC try to copy a query from the basic cube to your multicube. This will bring over the query as well as any CKF, RKF and structures that you have created on the basic InfoCube query. The only prerequisite is that all elemnets of the basic cube should be present in the multiprovider. You can try...the system will point out to you if anythign is missing.

    Hope this helps...

      Hey Bhanu,

No a lot of objects are missing and I cant copy the query or elements.

what else can you think of?

Or do you think creating a new cal. key figure with a different is the only solution?

    Hello Kalyan,

Please follow the following steps, sine your base cube and MP are not identitical

    1. Check Function Module RSZ_I_COPY_QRY_TO_CUBE_POPUP exists in your system

    2. Find "IF l_subrc <> 0 OR l_is_compliant = rs_c_false" in the main program

    3. Place a break point in the code and then Execute Function Module RSZ_I_COPY_QRY_TO_CUBE_POPUP

    4. Change the value of l_is_compliant = ‘X’ in the debug mode.

    5. Select the Query you want to Copy, the Query will be copied with the cal. Keyfigure

    6. Open the target Cube and check the Query...

    Hope this helps…
