QS23 Control Indicators

Hello everyone..

I work mainly with the QM transaction in SAP and have been using the test system to develop and test the plans we are using. When using the template to upload the characteristics I've been having trouble gathering all the control indicators (6001,6002,6008, etc) to put on the sheet..

So the point of this post is to find out if there is a way to find the Control Indicators numbers without looking at the drop down menu and using that as a check list to find them. Is there a way to run a transaction to find this numbers easier? Am I doing this process the long way? An ideal way would be to run a transaction with all the Master Characteristics and have them say the control indicator 6000 # associated with that Master Characteristic..

Thanks in advance for the help it is greatly appreciated!

What to do if these control indicators are not getting displayed in Excel sheet?

Hi,

Control Indicators are the customizes function. You want to see the list of Control Indicators follow belowing path-

SPRO->Quality Management->Quality Planning->Basic Data->Inspection Characteristic, Inspection Method->Define Default Values for Control Indicators

There is no report for MIC with Control key. From this control key the system gets the default settings for indicators that are relevant to the characteristic you are creating. Only the proposed settings for the indicators are copied to the characteristic; the control key itself is not copied over or stored in the characteristic.

Hello John, kindly excuse me but I didn't get it clearly! Whether 6001, 6002, 6008 are customized preset  indicators which are used at the time of MIC creation in QS21?

If yes, then I think, this value vanishes after MIC creation. It is just used to set control indicators preset. Whether you want to view for certain preset indicator what control indicators are set or want to view existing MIC master along with preset indicator value?

For earlier, you should refer table TQ27. Run it in SE16. For later, you can check all control indicators in QS28.
