Want 2 remove pushbuttons from ITS

hi

when i call SAP url from IE, it displays following pushbuttons.

Menu,Back,Cancel,Tools.

Can i remove them????

Be very careful when removing buttons like "back", "next", "cancel" and such. Using the browser's own buttons for this kind of navigation can throw ITS's context out of synch. Otherwise, removing, changing, moving around any page elements as you mentioned can be done by editting/customizing the underlying template as mentioned. However, you may want to:

(1) create a "Z" version of the service (if it is a SAP service) to use and change.

(2) create a different "theme" (not the "99" default) and use your template there.

I typically go through the effort of #1 above via SE80.

Am also suggesting the same and updating anything in ITS may lead to confu.

How could we update a service file if my view doesn't have one ?

Most of the Iview doen't have SE80 service files ...Hoe these services access templates ?

Hi Gaurav,

you can remove the buttons by editing templatelibrarybasis.html as J suggested, however keep in mind that your changes will get lost with the next update of your ITS (next Patch or Support Package).

Hi Gaurav,

You need to edit the templatelibrarybasis.html file that is on the ITS AGate instance. It's on the AGate under c:\program files\sap\its\6.20\DEV\templates\system\dm\templatelibrarybasis.html.

Take out or comment out the help/edit references.
