License determination in Manual Customs Declaration

Former Member

Hi,

License determination is part of complaince management and when we create a customs declaration with refernece to Pro Froma, the legal control data cover over customs declaration from Customs document.

My question here is, Is there any standard configuration set up to determine License into manually created Customs declaration.

If there is no standard configuration set up, I would go for a development where I need to add a tab ("Legal Control", It does not populate in Manually created Customs declaration, to my knowledge) to capture the determined Licenses, to determine the licenses in Customs declaration, need to add a standard license detrmination FM in BADI.

Thanks in Advance.

Regards,

Ashok

Hi Ashok,

i agree with Dave in this as it is a standard functionality in GTS.

the Legal Control screening for manual Customs Declarations should be executed manually as per standard SAP GTS Functionality.

in the Customs Declaration menu, select 'Goto'->Logs->Legal Control and SPL Screening, by selecting individual process you can manually do screening for the manual Customs Declaration.

Thanks,

Thanks Dave for your reply.

Ataully, when I created a munual Export customs declaration, I noticed that  "Control" tab at item level missed in customs declaration. I thought, when the customs declataion created in GTS automatically (W R to pro forma), then only  "Control" tab at item level will be populated in customs declaration.

Can you please guide me  where I need to activate to enable it for Manual Declaration and explain me  how the standard license determination will be trigger at the time manual declaration creation.

I would appreciate your help.

Ashok

Hi Ashok,

Now I realise that I'd mis-read your question.  You are right; the compliance functionality is only available when you create a Declaration by transfer from the feeder system.

Sorry for the misleading response!

Hi Dave,

As I am new to GTS, I need a confirmation from GTS experts like you to take it forward with a development to fill the gap.

Really I would appreciate your prompt reply and at the same time I would request you to have a look into other two queries.

Regards,

Ashok
