Stealroad and SAP TM 9.3 integration via Event Management

Hi,

We need to accesses from TM system the Steelroads website to receive the updates related to the transportation status (we subscribe to Steelroads and provide a list of railcar identifiers and states and which type of events we choose to receive).

In theory, we know that Steelroads essentially gathers railcar location events as they pass by different stations, and provides the status updates to TM via Event Management, but I don`t know the steps that must be done to create this connection (TM-EM-Steelroad)

Can you help me?

Hi Loredana,

does this mean you want to create Events in EM from the subscribed Steelroads data?

You could create a report that runs periodically and gets the new data from Steelroads and the send an Event Message to EM with BAPI /SAPTRX/BAPI_EH_ADDEVENTMSG_02.

With the standard EM->TM integration the data will then also be sent to TM.
