calyear and fiscalyear

Hello Experts,

I am creating a query and the variable for input should be fiscalyear peiod. But the cube which I am using to build the query is having cal year month.

so please guide me how can I give the selection screen to the user in fiscal year period format and then I need to use that values and convet it into cal year month and need to fetch the data from the cube.

Hi,

It doesn't seem feasible to give fiscal year period for user input based on calmonth.

You may map your date field field to fiscal year period to get the values populated in it and then use it for selection screen at BEx level.

You cannot achieve this directly in Bex. First, you need to convert calmonth to Fiscyearper in cube level and populate data to fiscyearper. Then only Fiscyearper will be available in query designer. Finally you can create user entry variable under that Fiscyearper in the query.
