The secret to installing CR for VS2012 correctly

My First install went badly, I could pull the CR references but the references displayed with the yellow triangle warning signs, and the code to use Crystal didn't see the references.. Error : "This project cannot be viewed in the object browser because it is unavailable or not yet built. Please ensure that the project is available and built".. Reading I thought I had pulled an older version that was buggy..

So I pulled what I think is newest version.. "CRforVS_13_0_5.exe worked to uninstall the first install.. Was not a clean uninstall and found although no longer in the program list for add/delete, rerunning wouldn't process because it saw it as installed.

So I used a software registration cleaner.. And installed the CRforVS_13_0_5.exe.. With exactly the same results as before..

So I can delete this install again.. But, what am I doing wrong??
