Can we disable reading option in SAP BO 4.0 Webi Report?

Hi,

Can we disable or greyout reading option in SAP BO 4.0 Webi Report and Can Webi Report be opened in Design by Default?

Hi Sourabh,

Yes you can do that in CMC .Check your BO admin Guys.Same requirement came to us also while doing testing for WEBI but that is Design mode disable and reading mode enable.

Go to CMC-->View on Demand

Or Do you want to disable Design mode instead?

Requirement is that reading mode should be disabled and report should always be opened in Design Mode.

Why not right clicking on the report and hitting Modify?

Then the report wil open in Design mode.

Hi,

i`m not aware that you can disable the reading mode per security. This is only possible with the Design Mode. Currently i cant get a hold of any Workaround.

The easiest default Method is described by Victor.
