I am trying to convert a Struts based Web Application

into a Portal Application. Can I create a Portal

Application based on struts?

    Nope. You can not use struts in Portal Application development. But you may enforce MVC architecture in Portal development.

      Struts framework is a standard framework used in many

      application. Is there any spedific reason as to Struts

      based Portal Applications arent supported in SAP EP.

      Can we expect any support in the future releases?

    Hi Divakar,

    I am not sure of struts, but u can create any J2EE application using NWDS and deploy it in J2EE engine. You can find the neccessary documentaion from Help of NWDS.

    Go to.. HELP>>SAP Web AS Doc>>SAP Web J2EE Appl..in NWDS u will get all the needed documentations.

      Thanks for the quick response.

      This is not for a web application rather it is for a struts based portal application.

      Does NWDS provide any provision for creating Struts based portal applications?
