BW / HR Structural Authorizations, Hierarchy Version "01"

Hi Experts!

I have a question about HR Structural Authorizations in BW.

Now, when the authorizations are generated (either in RSSM or with the program RSSB_GENERATE_AUTHORIZATIONS), the system generates the authorizations according to ORGEH hierarchy version "000", not to current plant "01". Both versions are being downloaded from R3 into BW.

Is there a setting somewhere where I can choose the correct hierarchy version that the authorizations will be generated to, in this case to version "01"?

Hi Shashi!

This would be ok, if we maintained the node authorizations manually. Now with the Structural Authorizations, the node authorizations are being generated with the program RSSB_GENERATE_AUTHORIZATIONS or manually in RSSM via "Authorizations" -> "Generate Authorizations" (as described in ASAP guide for BW/HR Structural Authorizations).

IN RSSM,

in the Authorizations section, click on Authorization for Defination for hierarchies and there when u create new difination, you will be able to select the right hierarchy in the hierarchy text box.
