Dimension issue

hi experts,

I have different ODS and on the top of it I am reating multi-Cube, can you please give me some suggestions how can i create Dimensions, what are the things I have to be careful, how do i really design Dimensions.

I know we cann't create more then 13 dimensions and i have about 100 of characteristic, how do i approach it.

need suggestions.

really appreciated your help and will assign the posts as well.
