Madatory field chk in Module pool

Hi,

In Screen ,I have changed the data type of the field Personal data 'P0002-NATIO' to 'T005T-NATIO ' .

Evn i hav checked that as mandatory , but it's allowing the blank entry . and moreover the filled value is not updating in the P0002 infotype .

Any help will be much appreciated .

    Hi ,

    What is the reason of changing the field ?

    Have you changed the data type in the standard screen Mp000200 .

    Use userexit Enhancement PBAS0001 to assign the customised field values to the standard fields so that it can be updated.

      Hi sriram ,

      It''s very much needed ,as am using this in ESS ( Employee self service ) in EP.

      Pls refre the thread "Module Pool - POV " posted by me yesterday .
