I have an issue with Bex -
Users all the time reference a cell for some other
calculation in the workbook. When adding a new free
characteristics, the cell referencing stops working
since the data is pushed down by the new row. Is
there any way to change queries in a workbook
without affecting Cell references? </b>
Please advise on this.
Hallo
in the bex you have the option to move result area (Bex tool bar) to another sheet.
your issue is common when you add addtional Charact. as the rows shift down if the result area is on the same sheet.

You could have the reference cell in the 2nd sheet in the same workbook..and then use the VLOOKUP functionality
We are using a similar approach for some complex calculation..
Hope this helps
