Hi Experts,
How to start implementation in pp module?
Means from which part (MRP controller, MRP Group, work center, Routing,Bill of material ,Shop Flour control) we start implementation.
Please tell me in which sequence we start implementation?
Hi All,
For Implementing the PP module you have to proceed with the following steps.
MRP settings:
1) Activate MRP at Plant level
2) Maintain the setting for MRP at Plant level or at MRP group level.
3) After maintaining the above two settings the Materials shall be created with the Planning type as MRP. This will create a planning file entry for all the created materials.
BOM settings:
1) Settings for BOM type
2) Settings for Item Category
3) Create BOM.
Workcenter Settings:
1) Maintain Control Key
2) Maintain Standard Value Keys
3) Maintain Production supply area
4) Maintain Factory Calendar
5) Maintain Time Shifts etc
6) Maintain Activity types for workcenter (if costing is implemented)
Shop Floor Control:
1) Maintain Order Type
2) Maintain Order Type dependent parameters
3) Maintain Production Scheduling Profile (If required)
4) Maintain Confirmation Parameter
5) Maintain the Printer settings for printing the shop floor papers.
