Getting ABAP dump Message_Type_X at back-end system when accessing MSS

Dear Experts,

I am getting an ABAP dump Message_Type_X and back-end system, while ESS is running fine.

Please check the attach screen shot for the same.

Hi Ess Mss,

While checking your abap dump it seems that you have issue with your Webdynpro service for HRMSS home page.

Check the respective service through SICF.

Or Else check the user authorization whether user have portal role and do not role at back-end side.

For more details please confirm few things like ...

How you can reproduce the error ?

Send the ABAP dump in details, If you can ?

Hi Anuj,

I check below service and it seems fine /default_host/sap/bc/webdynpro/sap/HRMSS_HOMEPAGE

I can test it and its working.

For reproducing the error, when i am clicking on MSS page through portal then its giving dump

hi ,

MESSAGE_TYPE_X is some way  kernel problem. I think update your kernel level up to latest version and update the GUI patches or uninstall and reinstall the same gui patches. ...once check your patch levels are up to date or not.........

Hi,

As you are saying that you are getting dump when you clicking on MSS page through portal ...

Did you check user have proper roles auth. at back-end side?

Standard ABAP Role SAP_MANAGER_MSS_NWBC_2 - PFCG Role for the Manager with all generated standard single role should be assigned to the user.

Please check !!!

Thanks Anuj, Yes its my silly mistake that users master record was not compared properly for the test user.

Now its fine.

hi ESS MSS,

Can u post your MSS page error which you got in portal , so that all can see the error , and check the activations in SICF ..and SFW5 also.activate MSS BUSINESS FUCNTIONS kindly check ......

can you check below notes and your config

Also, this error can be due to URL settinsg of HTTP or HTTps
