Installing Business Content.

Hi all,

I need to install business content ie just one infoobject. I went to Business Content->selected the infoobject->drag and drop to the right section->selected the object and click Install. I can see the installing process but when I search by the infoobject that I installed in Modelling area, I cannot find it. Please let me know.....

Hi Sabrina,

Did you first click on the InfoObjects in the left hand pane (Under InfoProvider, under Modeling) ?

Also, if the installation was successful, you can try to find it in RSD1 to be sure.

I meant in RSA1 > Modeling > Here we have 5 options: InfoProvider / InfoObject / InfoSources / Source systems / PSA. So did you try to search in the InfoObjects or in InfoProviders ? If the InfoObject is not an InfoProvider, you will not find it in the InfoProvider selection area.

I cannot find it in Infoproviders section too.

I can find the object in RSD1 and it is in Active version.

No no..please click on InfoObjects and then search for it. It is possible that it will not be found in InfoProviders area.

I did bhanu, I am sorry if I am confusing you but I searched in both Infobjects as well as in Infoproviders section and I cannot find it.

Am I installing the object wrong? Please let me know

Okay, can you refresh the RSA1 screen. Or close this session and open a new RSA1 and then search. Sometimes it is just the screen Refresh that is the culprit...

The object is getting installed but I cannot search it in Infoobject section, but I can bring the object up from RSD1.

Please let me know any ideas if you have....

Hi Sabrina,

RSDIOBCIOBJ table will show you under which infoarea your IO is sitting.

Hi,

Install the respetive Infoobject Catalog also .Then the object will be displayed under this info object catalog.

I found in then table that the infoobject is sitting in catalog 0PC_CHA01, but I cannot find the catalog too?

Maybe it's in inactive version? Consider the previous recommendation by Anil.

Which option did you do? Have you maybe simulated the installation? Go to RSD1 and try to look for it and see what is the result?
