SSO is not working for Travel and Expense via ITS Server in DMZ

We are running Sap Portal Netweaver for travel and expense application but still using the ITS server. In production we have an ITS sitting in the DMZ zone accessible by the outside.

SSO is setup for the R3 box and SSO configuration has been done on the ITS server. We are still getting prompted for a userid and password.

Don't know what else to check. The portal and R/3 box are in the inside network.

Any help on what to check next? Open ports? other parameters?

Hello Ed,

most probably a domain issue, i.e. the cookie is not send along with the request since you issue the URL from another subdomain.

Please check your cookies!

Use http tools IE(fiddler, httpwatch) Firefox (Live HTTP Headers) and check the domain of the SSO cookie(s).

e.g. Set-Cookie: MYSAPSSO=...; path=/; domain=.dmz.hanson.com

In case of SSO2 then please try to call your service with client and language attached.

i.e. http://.../scripts/wgate/service!?client=800&language=en

Search for notes on SSO, SSO2, MYSAPSSO, MYSAPSSO2; also searching http://help.sap.com/ with these tokens might be helpfull.
