Enable Send Data only in some cells of my InputSchedule

Hi experts!!

I have an input schedule that I want to protect some cells to not send data to server.

I add one image to see my problem.

I would like to send data only in yellow cells.

How can I do that?

Hi Alex

An alternative is to use a EPMReadOnlyData formula in the input sheet. You just specify the report ID and the areas in which you do not want the data to be sent to the server.

Hi Alex,

You can use the EPM Formatting sheet. Based on the criteria, you can color code the cells. In order to lock the cells, in the EPM formatting sheet right click on the Data cell, EPM --> Lock Selected Cells as shown below.

For Protection -->

• If you protect the work sheet form Review Tab you will get the error "Error in Refresh Sheet" as below.

• Protect the sheet from EPM Sheet Options --> Protect Worksheet for protecting the worksheet
• to protect the workbook EPM Sheet Options --> Protect Workbook as below

Hi Alex,

You can use the EPM Formatting sheet. Based on the criteria, you can color code the cells. In order to lock the cells, in the EPM formatting sheet, against the criteria, in the Use column, double click, and select protection -> lock.

Also, you need to protect the main sheet from the Review tab.

Thank you for your fast answer, looks like good! But I have a problem when I enable Protect Sheet in Review Tab.

When I refresh my input schedule I have an error:

Generar Error: Error in RefreshSheet

This error occurs when I enable Protect Sheet

Any help?

Protect the sheet through sheet options.
