How to use one query to display DSO and Tables

I have one DSO and two tables as follow, I have no idea how to use one query to display them

1. ZB_OLCK (DSO)

Field to use: BPPM USER ID - Techname:  ZB_USER

Date - Techname:  DATE0

Hour Slot - Techname:  TCTHOURSLT

2.ADRC (table)

Company - Techname:  NAME1

Country - Techname:  LAND1

City  - Techname:  CITY1

3.USR02 (table)

User Group        - Techname:  CLASS

Hi Ken,

I did not understand your question.

If you want to show data in to queries in SAP BI then you need to bring that data into datatarget.

So bring data from table to any BI datataget.if you are loading tables data into same DSo then you can directly create query on DSO otherwise place tables data in some another data target and create multiprovider.Create report on multiprovider.

Actually, I want to create InfoOjbect on these two tables, and create an InfoSet on these InfoObjects and DSOs,  then use query display this infoSet, could you give me some detail advice?

Hi Ken,

Create two table extractor if you are aware about this then Good.otherwise go with follow following steps.

Go to RSO2 transaction to create generic datasource .

You need to give technical name of datasource under datasource type you want and click on create. Then you can give descrption and Application component under which u want see the datasource,

enter the z table name under view/ table and save.

here you can click on check boxes to make fields hidden or selection fields.

then create DSO for storing the table data.Create transformation for newly created datasource and DSO.Load table data.Finaly You need to create infoset which contains old DSO and New DSo.

Create query on Infoset and execute with analyser and test the required output.

Hi Ken,

As per my opinion :

If you want to design report using BEx query Designer then it is not possible.Because Bex query should be designed on BI Infoprovider only such as DSO,Infocube,Infoset,Multiprovider,infoobjectetc..

ABAP report : Using ABAP you can create report in which you can read tables data and DSO data also.But I think that is not your requirement.

Hi Ken,

Along with DSO and two standard tables, thru bex report you can't design it. Thru ABAP you can develop report at SE38(bw server.

If you want on bex reports then you can do generic extraction based on your tables.

If ADRC and USR02 have relations then created data source based on view.

Once you create data source load data to custom target, use DSO and this custom target on Multi provider if you have atleast one identical info objects. other wise think about infotset creation to club those two.

Once you have two tables into bw targets then only you can do report by using bex tool.
