Hello experts...

I have trouble in creating the project in developer studio.

While i'm creating the project in NDS ..i selected project as J2EE ---> EJB project... then i gave project name ...dev.studio giving error like " New project couldn't be created".

Let me know anybody face the same problem and how to correct it?

thanks,

Praveen.

Is already there a (even empty) folder with the same name of the project you're trying to create, inside your workspace (or whatever location you're storing the project contents)?

Hi Praveen,

a) what version of NWDS are you using? Maybe update it (get the latest from Service Market Place; anyhow, you should use the version corresponding to your server version).

b) You don't need J2EE installed on the dev machine. A JDK is absolutely enough.

c) Try to change the path where the project should be created; for example, try a simple "c:\Projects".

Hope it helps

Detlev
