Hello Friends,
My biz requirement is to send the workbooks as email attachment in MS Excel format, in a particular time interval so instead of using bex broadcasting option I used the program RS_PREC_PLAN , With this I am able to send the email [ external email] but it is coming in junk format.
Please advice what settings / configurations do I need to take care for this.
Also when I try to open the attachment it will give firs the below message
After this it is displaying like this, kindly advice what to do to make in readable format.
Hello Suman,
Thankyou very much for your reply.
My Excel version in 2010, apart from the warinign mesasge I am getting the currupt workbook. So for this I checked a tick mark against to Use XLS File Format under Default Workbook tab. After this I am not getting the warning but the attachment is coming empty.
Thanks in Advance

What is the excel version you are using? I suggest you to use Excel 2007 or 2010.
Coming to your message pop up, it is saying you that the file is other older version, it tries to open with a newer version. It is a warning, you should say yes. If you want to suppress it, you have to edit the registry file, which is not advisable.
