difference 0AC_DOC_NR vs 0AC_DOC_NO

hi all,

I'm curious to know what is difference between following 2 characteristics within New G/L flow (0FI_GL_14). This is what I found in documentation:

0AC_DOC_NR = DOCNR Document Number (General Ledger View) FAGLFLEXA-DOCNR

0AC_DOC_NO = BELNR Accounting document number                         FAGLFLEXA-BELNR BSAD-BELNR

But I would be curious to know business background of those two fields.

Hi Martin,

Your Data source 0FI_GL_14 is standard one. Once you install whole data flow, from data source to info cube, at transformation levels you will know the respective source fields those two fields. once you know those two fields, with help of FI team you may get clarification.

or You can use table at bw side SE11- RSOSFIELDMAP, enter info object name. you will get ecc field.

Thru FI team you will get exact information.

well I know source table/fields of those 2 characteristics. See my original post.

What I'm looking for is to get more clarity and more details what are those 2 fields about.

E.g. if someone used this DS of new G/L in the reports why he/she used those fields etc..
