Dear All,
I am facing a strange issue, I tried to move 0RECORDTP,0UNIT,0UNIT_DIM from DEV to PRD.
Till quality i have no issues, but when the request throwing error when moving to production.
when i check in production all three objects are active. This is the second time i have created the request for the above objects and still the same error.
kindly help me to get out of this.

Suman T
Hi Suman,
The error indicates that all dependant/relevant objects are not captured for the Infoobjects that are being transported.
To fix this, capture all the dependent objects for the IOs from transport connection and re-transport.

HI suman,
Try to activate that iobjs through program se38 :rsdg_iobj_activate, here it provides detail info sometimes dependent iobjs may miss.

I suspect your way of transport collection. Please check this link to get the solution.

Hi
Is the issue shown in the log further up as "original object cannot be replaced"? If so make sure you tick overwrite originals and repairs.
What else is in this transport? It is not necessarly related to the infoobjects alone it might be in context of a datasource on the same transport.
hope it helps
Martin

Hi suman,
Error RC - 8 indicates transport sequence issue.
From above transport you jsut collected 3 infoo bjects only?
Can you check source system connections
Have you transported any transports today and yesterday, is those went fine?
Please check your source and target entries are maintained here not.

Thanks
Hi Ram,
There is no sequence i am moving only these objects and individually in a different request, except 0UNIT_DIM & 0UNIT, I dont think ORECORDTP has any dependency i tried moving unit dim first and then the unit faced error, moved unit and moved unit dim faced error. I am moving many object to production without any error, only these objects are giving me the trouble.

Hi Suman,
Those are basic info objects. due to your previous requirement you may be moved. so if those are active prod, then no need transport again.
Thanks

Hi Ram,
Expecting your reply, I am not moving this info object intentionally. I moved a request previously to production, where i got error for this objects, stating this object or not active, so i collected only this objects and trying to moving them without any hope. so I need to rectify the previous error in PRD, thats i am trying to move them. hope you can understand the situation.

If the above three objects are available and active in the production environment, I hope importing the main TR (for which the import error initially caused) should go through fine without any errors.
If still the error occurs on reimporting the main TR, there's a possibility that the objects are changed in the target system and hence the system is not able to import the same object from the lower environment. I'll do an overwrite mode import of these objects in production environment and reimport the main TR.
Choice is yours.
