Hello,

I need to import the file R009942.BCO for target release 700 into our BW system (SAP note 337465 - Syntax error in SAPLSDB6) but I don´t know why I can notimport it! I tried through the STMS and also using R3trans, with the following command log on in the server with <sid>adm: R3trans -i R009942.BCO

- Using STMS, the slog file show the following lines (E:\usr\sap\trans\log\SLOG1341.BWD):

START SET STOPMARK         BWD        20131008123751              MNTADM       srvap20
INFO: Buffer saved as E:\usr\sap\trans\buffer\BWDSAV.

STOP  SET STOPMARK         BWD        20131008123751              MNTADM       srvap20

START tp_getprots          BWD S      20131008134856              MNTADM       srvap20 20131008134856

- I also found in path other log files for example the SLOG1339.BWD:

Do you have the cofile and the datafile present in the transport directory.

You need to provide the full path name to the file.

If the files are not present then most likely it is a local transport.

Hello to all,

I guess I've managed to import the order R009942.BCO... I did the same thing, with the same command in CMD (operation system) but I done that in path E:\usr\sap\trans\data:

E:\usr\sap\trans\data>R3trans -i R009942.BCO

This is R3trans version 6.13 (release 640 - 17.09.12 - 20:12:05 ).

R3trans finished (0004).

Thus the problem is solved!

Thank you for your help,

regards,

samid

Guys, the event related messages are a couple of weeks old.  It might still be a problem or not, but it definitely isn't the problem right now.

Hi Samid,

the Job RDDIMPDP should be scheduled in the System and should listen to the event SAP_TRIGGER_RDDIMPDP. This event is triggered by the program sapevt.exe on OS side. The error messages states, that the cannot be started by raising the event. This could have several reasons (job not scheduled, error in event handling ...).  Could you please post the file dev_evt. And there should be some entries in the SM21. Please state them too.

Best regards

I checked the note, and the archives do not contain a cofile, so you can't use STMS to import your transport.

As to using R3trans, you need to either be in the folder where the R009942.BCO file is located, which should bi DIR_TRANS/data, or give the full path name, so that R3trans can find the file.

you need to be in data directory.. here you are in C:\> which is not correct. or give full path.

Hi Samid,

please check whether parameter RDISM/MSSERV_INTERNAL is maintained in the instance profile. if it is maintained remove it and restart SAP  as suggested in note 821875

Thanks,

Hello Ranjith,

I don´t see any of these  parameters set in the instance.

>>> Background jobs cannot be started. <<<

Please check if rddimpdp job is scheduled in 000 & client where you are starting import ? (select * in event selection in SM37)

If not, this can be scheduled with program RDDNEWPP.

Hello ashish,

I already did that, but unfortunately it doesn't solve the problem.
