SLT DMIS 2011 SP05 to a java NW 731 MII system

All,

Attempting to create our first 'Non-SAP' connection via SLT to HANA. The source system is a Java NW system running MII on DB2/DB6. The SLT has all the pre-req's for connection (including Kernel 7.21) and a connection is established to both source and target, HOWEVER, no triggers are created and no logging tables. The Master job is running fine but no data transfer. I was at least expecting the DD02L and DD02T tables to be loaded? Could I be missing something obvious?

The user on DB2/6 has all the right privileges assigned...as far as I can tell.

Thanks

Kris

Update 🙂

The upper case schema worked as I can now see the DD02L and DD02T tables as loaded in the HANA Schema...however, these tables are not visible in the LTRC table overview or in HANA data provisioning, so there is no visible way of seeing that the tables are in fact loaded. I can now select additional tables for replication, create triggers and logging tables, however, the tables only load and do not switch to replicate. Root cause is that logging tables are created without key fields. This is now with SAP Dev team...

Update to follow...

Potential Solution:

The issue seems to be a case sensitivity with the DB6 schema

name. When the configuration was created the DB6 schema

name, SAPSR3DB, was created in lower case, sapsr3db, as seen in table

IUUC_REPL_CONPAR. This is not valid for DB6. It seems that the valid

schema name should be in upper case

I will try this tomorrow morning and update this thread 🙂

Thanks

Hey Kris,

have you applied all non-SAP related notes? Any error displayed in the application log?

SM21 logs are clear.

Have recreated the configuration (dropped the user in HANA first) but still no luck.

Have also opened a message on Service Marketplace.

Thanks

Hi,

have you checked tx LTRC? Any strange behaviours there - some details at the application log there?

Best,

Tobias

Hi Tobias,

LTRC/MWBMON Application logs clean i.e. no log as no logging tables or triggers created...starting to suspect authorization at DB6 user level.

We are still checking but running out of ideas...

Thanks
