Inactive InfoObject Catalog

As part of a transport one of the InfoObject Catalogs is Inactive. All the objects are active. What are the consequences if the Catalog remains inactive and how to activate, want to try and avoid transporting an activation. Thanks

    Hallo

You should maitain your objects in your development system instead to activate in the Q or P system. if inactive nothing will happen but activate it in D and transport to Q or P.

Then if the system is closed to change the only way is via transport. (of course you can open it but I would not do it)

Create a request for single infoobject and transport it to prod/qa system.

it will works fine and check the return code...rcode should be 0 or 4...

Double click on a catalog - Activate.

    Best regards,
