Hi
BAPI-ALE interface is used for creating IDOCS through BAPI's.
I have created GRN IDOC.
go through the following Roadmap ...
BAPI ALE integration ::
First step is to locate object type and bapi (method) for GRN download.
Transaction SWO1 gives a list of objects and their methods. These methods are BAPIs. You can select the object type and its method from here
Second step is to create the interface.
In transaction BDBG Object name MKPF
Method GETITEMS
Interface created
IDOC type: Z_GOODSRECEIPT_GETITEMS01
Outbound FM: ZALE_GOODSMVT_GETITEMS
Inbound FM :ZIDOC_INPUT_Z_GOODSRCPT_GETITM
Message type: Z_GOODSRECEIPT_GETITEMS
Distribution model and partner profile Created
Program written to extract data is Z_GRN_BAPI. This program accepts receiver name, and posting date. It creates one IDOCs for all GRNs posted on that date.
The IDOC created for two GRNs posted on 16.03.2004 is 604968
As these IDOCs are created in ALE, no files are generated on server. If files are required for these IDOCs then they can be created from database tables using the checkbox on selection screen. The filename and location to be given on selection screen. The program will download a file to given location
There is also a standalone program Z_IDOC_DOWNLOAD_DIRECT. This program downloads all IDOCs created on a specific date with specific message type.
i think it will help you
