Could anyone explain what is Pseudo Delta??

Hi Chand,

Pseudo delta is used to refer to the approach of trying to get delta from a Full Update datasource using the selection parameters provided.

Example:

If there is a datasource getting GL Account data but it is not delta enabled, but has posting date as the selection criteria infoobject. So the user manually controls delta by say selecting the dates

In the first extraction the user would extract data till

04-OCT-2005 and the next time the user extracts data he would give the selection criteria as 05-OCT-2005 to say 10-OCT-2005.

In this case you get delta but the control lies with the selction of the appropriate values. This is referred to as pseudo delta.
