What is the difference between Validity period & Classification period in GTS Product Master

Hello  All

In GTS Product Master(/sapsll/product_02)  when assigning HTS code to a product noticed there are fields  validity period and classification period  fields . Can some one please explain what is the difference

Hi AKV,

One is the validity of the code; the other is the validity of the classification (the assignment of the code to the Product).  The latter cannot be longer than the former.
