F4 for selecting a folder on the applicationserver

Hello!

I want to program an F4-help for selecting a FOLDER on the application server.

With the function F4_DXFILENAME_TOPRECURSION you are able to select a file on the applicationserver but I need to select a FOLDER.

Do anybody know how I can implement this kind of F4-help?

    Hi Florian,

    Please check if you have Function Module

    /SAPDMC/LSM_F4_SERVER_FILE on your system. It exactly meets your requirement .

    Cheers

    Hi,

    Try this.

    data SEL_FOLDER type string.

    CALL METHOD CL_GUI_FRONTEND_SERVICES=>DIRECTORY_BROWSE

    EXPORTING

    WINDOW_TITLE = 'Choose folder'

    INITIAL_FOLDER = 'C:\'

    CHANGING

    SELECTED_FOLDER = SEL_FOLDER.

    CALL METHOD cl_gui_cfw=>flush.
