Dear experts,
am having below requirement.
When Purchase order has been created from me21n tcode, workflow need to trigger and workitem needs to send as per the release groups and release startegies.
But instead of workitem i need to send a mail to external mail id with 'approve' and 'reject' links.whenever user click on the appaove link purchase order automaticaly need to release from backend.there is no need to login sap user id.without login into the sap only clciking on approve link purchase order need to be release.
kindly give me suggestion to reach this requirement.

Hi,
You will have to make User decisions followed by your own task to approve PO's The user decisions should have all the data needed for an approver to make his or her decision.
As for the offline approval, if you have SSO you can use html in extended notification for the user decision that way the user will see a webpage informing them of succesful execution of the workitem.

1. Release strategies settings in SPRO, release code for workflows (1 or 9 I think)
2. Extended notifications SWN_SELSEN, user decisions, followed by method to set next approval step.
I can't elaborate more because then this would be Workflow consulting and not Workflow advise.
Your next steps would be to get familiar with the aforementioned techniques and then investigate if extended notification with html links is conforming to the business requirements, if not then there are third party products available for offline approval.

Hi,
please go through the below link for approval from email. you will need to do some additional configurations in your SCOT settings. Also you have to setup one generic email address in you client outlook for sending email from outlook to SAP.
