How to check MRP RUN before processing it?

I need to check MRP before processing it. Is there is any route for doing it?

or give me suggestion on how to validate my master data related to MRP.

In MD02: single-item multi-level, you can use the process control parameters as shown below:

Once I also had this requirement . In MD01 you don't have any method to check the results of MRP before saving results. You have to run it and see the results. Mangalraj has mentioned necessary master data which you need. Verify them.

In my understanding there is no direct report or transaction to cross check the settings related to

MRP.

But the important key points would be the plant parameters for carrying out MRP, material master

settings like MRP type,MRP controller,lot size,procurement type, in-house production time,planned

delivery time,GR processing time etc.Along with this the BOM its validity, routing its validity etc.

One indirect method would be in MD02,you can set the check box for simulation mode and display

materials list and you can select the procurement proposals to check the results before save.

Hi,

You can check the MRP values in table (MARC) level only in mass. Instead of doing validation after creation, you have to create or upload the mater data in good manner. For that you can use MRP profile functioanlity if MRP values are same for group of materials.
