Product Compatibility

HI All,

I need a small help regarding the compatibility of the follwing components on <b>AIX 5.2 Operating System</b>.

1)Oracle 9.2.0.4

2)SAP WAS 6.40 SP13

3)SAP Enterprise Portal software 6.0 SP 13

4)KM & Collaboration SP 13

5)TREX 6.1 SP13

Does the above product compostion represent a stable environment ??

Is SP 13 is a stable version ? Has it been released for customers??

or Its better to go for <b>SP12</b> only !!

have you checked SAP's platform availability matrix (PAM), availbable at http://service.sap.com/pam?

It says:

Oracle 9.2 is supported on AIX 5.2

SAP WAS 6.40 is supported on AIX 5.2 since SR1

EP6 w/ KM&C is supported on AIX 5.2 since SR1

TRex 6.1 is supported on AIX 5.2, but 32 bit only

Regarding release information, see http://service.sap.com/sp-stacks. And, yes, SP13 has been released. It can be downloaded under the very same URL. Actually, just now, SP14 has been released, too.

Yah i have checked the PAM ..What i was looking for information on the stability of the patch 13.

Is it more stable than SP12 ? Is SP 13 of all the components are stable ?? I need this info so that i can give the product compostion to my client.

One more cofusion that i have is regarding the TREX support for AIX .

<b>TRex 6.1 is supported on AIX 5.2, but 32 bit only</b>

In the PAM , its given AIX 5.2 is supported on 64 bit machines only..At the same time they are saying , its for 32 bt onyl...Then how come i can install TREX 6.1 on that ??

would like to have your inputs !

From our experience, SPS13 (with Patch 3 for KMC) has been the most stable EP6 NW04 version.

)) The EP / KMC software is too complex that there would ever be a version where everything is working errorfree. But if somebody has SPS12 in production, there are good chances that with SP13 (KMC P3) the stability will raise.

With SP14, there are many new feature (EFP), where experience must be gathered.

Still the confusion which i am having is reagarding TREX 6.1 installation on AIX 5.2.

I will put it again :

Thru the product availability matrix, i got to know that

1)AIX 5.2 is supported on 64 bit machines only

2)TREX 6.1 is supported on AIX 5.2

3)Again TREX 6.1 is supported only for 32 bit

Then how come i can install TREX 6.1 on AIX ?
