Which ports needs be enabled to access BO through public internet domain

HI experts,

Need your inputs to configure LB url to access through internet.

Currently we are in BI4.0 SP6 and we have Mobile reports are there in the environment.

We have two servers are in cluster which are having tomcats.

1) 10.98.47.155

2) 10.98.47.156

Where both the servers are working fine in Launchpad and BO Mobile individually in the intranet.

Now we are trying to have Load Balancer (F5) url (https:// sapbi.XYZ.com) on the below urls

1) http:// 10.98.47.155:8080

2) http:// 10.98.47.156:8080

we would like to enable the https:// sapbi.XYZ.com on the public domain to access the reports in internet via Launchpad and Mobile.

Which are all the ports needs be enabled to access BO through public internet domain?

Do I need to enable CMS ports ?

Could you please share your thoughts?

Hi Prasad ,

The following BO server ports need to be open :

CMS server , Input File Repository, Output file repository , Webi processing server and Adaptive job server, bidrectionally on a public domain

Thanks for the info.

External LB ( Reverse proxy) will be communicated with Tomcat which are located in DMZ network.

BO Servers are holding both Tomcat and SIA on the same node.

Will the Tomcat communicate with the CMS,APS,FRS internally or Do we still need to enable the ports to access through the public domain.?

Hi,

opening the HTTP/HTTPS Port only for the public domain should be enough as all your Services are on the same Node.
