Deletion of Secstore Entries after System Copy

Former Member

Hi Mates,

We completed System Refresh from our existing Dev server to Training Server and while performing post steps I have deleted Red Color Entries in Secstore T-code, can anyone tell me what would be the impact and is there a way to get the entries back as I heard that we should not delete them?

Thanks In Advance

Hi Harry,

I think there will be no issue in deleting the Sectore enteries. It contains the information regarding the user and password.

Once you , compled the post system refresh activity , it will create the required entries (such as RFC and XI RFC)

You can also apply the secure storage key after system refresh (recommending for PI System) which is available on SMP.

I have no idea , on how to get back the enteries.

Hi Harry,

You need migration key from SAP Market place.  Please find below instructions, that should solve your problem.

Please reward point if this resolve your issues.

Hi,

As a part of the secstore.

First of all you should delete all the RFC related to the DEV system and chnage the point to quality related to all the functionality activate din your system like sld pointing ,ADS, BW..etc.... Dont chnage the generic rfc like OSS .

The you need to run secstore transaction and as suggested earlier. this will fix all other remaining RFC.

Thanks
