Dear Experts,
Can we search the messages that are already archived?
I mean I want to open the archived messages to see the trace, the payload, etc.. just as if the message was in the database.
Thank you,
Suwandi C.
Hi Suwandi
Normally in production environment all the messages get archieved in PI after a certain period of time for example 2 days , 3 days. This is done for controling the memory of the PI system.

Hello,
Thanks for the reply.
Can I see the payload of the archived messages?
I think I need to get the understanding of the archived message straight. What kind of messages would be archived?
I know that in PI, there could be a job to delete / to archive messages. There could be a retention period for both. Which message will be archived and which message will be deleted? Are the archived ones are those that is not the latest version?
Thank you,
Suwandi C.

Hi Suwandi,
Yes you can follow the method suggested by Raja.
go to SXI_MONITOR then Archived XML messages and after selecting the required date and message, you need to click on Display archived version.
