context member change

Hi everyone,

I have two dimensions in in context for input template. user selects the right members in both dimensions in context pane to display data in template.

when user gets the input sheet in offline mode, he goes online to send data, he finds that context members are different than the members for which he has been sent the tempate offline mode. now user is not willing the change the context member. he want the context members change automatically when gets the sheet in offline mode.

is this possible that i can change context member directly through input template. I mean, is there any macro or API that i can use to change context members in both dimensions.

Try to used the AddContextFavorite Macro

Please check the EPM 10 document, page 376 for all the details of the Macro.

Hi,

As of now I can see only option to full fill your requirement is using Context Favorites. Try with EPM Add-in SP13 and above patch to see this option under EPM-->Options-->Context Options

Using this option user can his context members under favorites before taking offline. Once it turn to offline user has to select his favourite context again to not to get overwritten with current context.
