Overhead % based on material group

HI ,

Is it possible to define % based on material group ? Currently I'm facing the requirement .

The OH % based on material type  , e.g RM with 1% ; bought out SFG 0.5% can be achieved by OH key & group & costing sheet config and then maintaining OH group in MM. But the raw material type might have many groups and client wants different % material group wise .

I tried to achieve by configuring dependency / condition table / access sequence ; but material group option is not there . Is it possible to populate material group there in condition table ? OR any other workaround is available ? I don't think the COOM0001 user exit will help to achieve this ( not sure !!) .

Any help / guidance will be highly appreciated .

Workaround is to create as many origin groups as material groups

Else. Userexits is the only option

firstly , you also believe that it's not possible through new dependecy / condition table ..isn't it ?

2nd ly , the option of "origin group " also came to my mind.. but it's not getting clear , even if client creates hundred of origin groups how can I define separate % on that ?

Hi

You need to create those many BASE in the costing sheet and assign the origin group in each base

You will have to create those many OVERHEAD in the costing sheet

I got the point but but client is not ready to have more than 200 origin group .

However client changed mind and now they opted for profit center wise OH % on material . For this I have configured condition table and new dependency . The 2nd part of customization went fine ( costing sheet with new dependecy) .

Testing is yet to be done .

Hi..

I think that the best method is using exit EXIT_SAPLKASC_002 of COOM0001.

But EXIT_SAPLKASC_002 don’t have material number and material group as import parameter.

To transfer material number into EXIT_SAPLKASC_002, you can modify standard program which have overhead calculation function call to export material number into memory and EXIT_SAPLKASC_002’s logic have that to get material group from MARA table, material number is imported from memory.

I am getting the logic ... don't you think it will become too complicated to handle ? I mean to say "changing the standard program" .
