In our BI4.1 server, adaptive job server shows as running but disabled at the same moment. Any one have any idea about the cause?
I aslo have same issue after 4.xBI installation. I had tried with custom AJS but did not help. Any other work around?

If you already have AJS, Right click on it and select 'Replicate Server'
Or if you don't have already one, creating new, Create new -> Service Category (Core Services), Select Service (Authentication update scheduling service) and click next , next to create Job server. Add whatever the services required for Job Server.
Hi Siji,
Do u see any error messages? any logs?

Arun

Generally, server status will be disabled to stop queuing the jobs for processing. The job server will process the request which are already in queue with the status as "Running" and it wont receive any jobs for processing until the server status has been changed to "Enabled".
If you are unable to change the status of the job server to "Enabled" then I would suggest you to restart the SIA.
Let me know if it helps!!

Hi Siji,
I guess you have installed BI 4.1 on windows, seems that there are some missing libraries in sapjvm folder, you can use process monitor to find this out, and replace the mssing files from a working environment, I would suggest to stop AJS, replace the whole sapjvm folder frm a wrking environment and check if it works.
