Hi,
I am a programmer and I am developing a data gathering tool for our customers. It will allow them to submit data via digital forms and generate reports using Crystal Reports. They will create crystal reports and upload the rpt files on our servers. I have created a Java program that uses Crystal Reports runtime engine (SAP Crystal Reports for Java runtime components - Java Reporting Component) to run the rpt file and then emails the PDF version of the report to our customers. We don't use Crystal Reports software, only our customers do. Do we have to pay for the Java Reporting Component or buy Crystal Reports software before integrating the Java Reporting Component with our Java application?
Thanks.
Thanks Don. I will check out these links.

HI Harjot,
Try this link:
https://archive.sap.com/documents/docs/DOC-21575
It has info on CR Java runtime.
And the updated SP 20, just released, from here:
https://blogs.sap.com/2016/10/24/sap-crystal-reports-version-eclipse-downloads/
PS - Licensing link does not work on this page.
