CRM Upgrade Issue

Repected gurus,

I am stuck in a problem while upgrading the CRM from Ehp 1 NW7.0 to EHP2 NW 7.20

using SUM at Shadow instance start.

It gives the error "Start of Shadow instance failed".

Hello

Check this file:

D:\usr\sap\SUM\abap\log\SAPup.ECO

Also check the version of kernel present at D:\usr\sap\SUM\abap\exe

Could you please check dev_w0 trace files of shadow instance in the upgrade directory and also paste here?

I have checked the dev_w0 log file and it says that some problem in db_connect.

i am also attaching the log file.

In log file, I can find below error:

*** ERROR => Missing codepage information from library d:\usr\sap\crd\SYS\exe\uc\NTAMD64\dboraslib.dll

Are you using correct kernel? It looks like kernel that you are using has database library files with incorrect code page.

i know that there is some incorrect code page info from this dll file from the log.

But what the excat solution for this?

I have 701 kernel in our CRM system and it is running fine but problem is in upgrade.

What is the code page of your system (unicode or non-unicode) ?

What is the version of kernel that you used for upgrade ? Please make sure that kernel media that you used in upgrade should have same code page as in CRM 701 system.
