Portal Custom Framework page in 7.3

Hi All,

  i would like to customize our sap portal in such a way that looks like a web site.

the every first thing , i would like to know how to customize the portal framework page ,. (Esp the Ajax framework page - I'm using NW 7.3 )

• Please let me know which/where to get the WAR File to customized the framework page. ?

• Second  main question is , normally in any website we have the layout something similar ""css float "",  to below  image.

        <-------Left Space ------->{{ ACTUAL CONTENT }} <----- Right Space --->   

  Could someone let me know how to achieve this kind of styling effect on my portal layout .

  Any help would be greatly appreciated..

We are having the requirement to customize the standard light weight framework page ,The requirement is to achieve W3c compliance portal.Please let us know   how to proceed further to customize frame work page.

Please also provide the ear file name for Light weight framework page.Where to download EAR file from portal Server.

Hi Kumar,

          WAR file you can get from System Admin--> Support--> Portal Runtime ->Browse deployements

and you need to find the file.

Hi Kumar,

     Yes you can design a Framework Layout to hold content like this.. And one more thing which i suggest you is please go with Standard Light Weight Framework Page with your custom Framework Page Layout component. Then design the masthead /Top level components as you required and add it to framework page.

We also had a similar requirement like this and this is how we achieved.Since our portal content was light weight we gone with that approach.If your content is not light weight you can do that same design with Standard Default Framework Page or Ajax Framework Page Layouts as your wish..

This may help you in many cases...
