Service account getting locked unexpectedly

Hi Team,

We are facing strange with one of our BO Dev system.

SIA is unexpectedly stopping few times with following error.

The BOEXI40SIABIXUSCORE2AUSCORED1N1 service was unable to log on as service account with the currently configured password due to the following error:

The referenced account is currently locked out and may not be logged on to.

and

Server Intelligence Agent: server <node>.ConnectionServer stopped with exit code = 0 (0x0) getting these type of errors for all server in Dev system

SIA was failed with same error 3 days back and today again.

This type of issue is not happening with other system, both environments service accounts are having similar type access and no difference.

Appreciate your response on this.

Thanks,

Narendar

Seems like service account is used some where else with wrong password.

Get in touch with your AD team and check in which system is that account is locked.

in the Meanwhile try to reconfigure Win AD in your environment, Dont use hard coded pwd in tomcat-java option. go for KEYTAB.

Check if service account properties have changed.

Refer to this KB for the steps : 1201463  - Enterprise Services fail to start when logging on as a service account instead of LocalSy...

Hi Jawahar,

Let me explain the problem here..

Our Service account will automatically unlock after 30 mins if account locked. After unlock we are able to start SIA, if we are restarting SIA again throwing error as service account locked.

If we are not restarting SIA for second time, we are not getting any problem with Service account and application is working fine.
