Hi experts,

can someone please give me a guide, where I can see the I/O times of database in SAP?

I know it should be somewhere in DB02/DBACOCKPIT.

But where?

thx a lot

Thx to everyone for help.

But I can always only see an average of the i/o?

Or is there also a possibility to see the current i/o?

Hi Christian,

You can see the current values and since DB start values by selecting the respective tab at the top of the screen, as shown below

Hi Christian,

the below article is valid for SQL Database only, however it explains the way to understand the I/O Performance in SAP. Please go through this.

Hi Christian,

The information displayed in DBACOCKPIT depend of your DBMS. See the Karthikeyan's post for MS SQL Server. For Oracle : Transaction DBACOCKPIT > Performance > Wait Event Analysis > Filesystem Requests. I do not have SAP system on other DBMS...

Best regards,

Nicolas

Sorry. you wanted it for a 731 Release.

It should be some where there. Don't have a system to check and tell you.
