Hi,

I have created production order wherein system do not scheduling production order correctly.

1. There are two workcenter in routing with processing time 8 hr/unit.

2. Capacity of each workcenter is 8 hr.

When I creating order for say 2 unit, sytem should show start date 03.10.2013 (Current date Scheduling Type) & End date should be 06.10.2013.

But in my case its showing End date as 03.10.2013 only.

Setting in OPU3 -

1. Detailed scheduling with Genrate Capacity reqs.

2. Adjust Scheduling - Adjust basic dates, adjust dep. req, reqmts to operastion date

Could anyone please helpout.

Hi,

Please cross check below points for your scheduling issue.

1. Workcenter formula - Use 'Test formula' function in workcenter scheduling tab pabe and do the scheduling test in workcenter itself. It'll ensure the workcenter formulas are correct.

2. Update the material master with routing time by using tcode CA97. This is a standard SAP procedure to avoid any scheduling mismatch.

3. In OPU3, have you selected the correct plant, order type and especially production scheduler.

Still if you find any issue, revert back.

Hi Darma,

Yes, you are right.....

In work center, Total duration is not calculating according to formula. It shows Total duration as Zero.

What to do?

Hi Rajesh,

Check the formula for Setup and Processing in Scheduling tab page. Try to use SAP standard formula for your testing. It should be SAP001 & SAP002. Ensure that you are checking in Scheduling tab page. Do 'Test formula' recheck after the formula changes.

Hi Dharma,

I have used standard formula only SAP001 for Set up & SAP002 for Maching time. I even check in standard value key wherein SAP_02 parameter is maintained for Machin time.

As per me everything is proper. Even system not calculating Total duration.

Hi,

Are you able to achieve the results if you perform Test formula in work center?

Hi,

Machine time formula SAP_02 * SAP_09 / SAP_08 / SAP_11. Kindly check and do the testing.

Dear Rajesh,

Check if the formula assigned in the scheduling tab page for processing field has the check box

included for scheduling, press the "I" key to check this setting.now if you are getting the duration

properly when you manually test the values in the work center and not getting the same during

planned order/production order processing means check if the control key assigned has the setting

for relevant to scheduling.

Assuming the control key has the setting included for scheduling, and still the system is not

calculating the operation timings means,i would suggest you to remove the work center in the

respective operation, press enter then reassign the work center, save the data and check once

again.

Hi,

Check the Scheduling activation tick mark in routing operation control key.

Also check in config, whether this workcenter formula activated for scheduling.

Dharma

Hi Dharma,

I have already check all this basic setting which required for scheduling operation.

I have used standard control key PP01 for all operation wherein Scheduling tick mark is activated.

In OP21, Formula definition - I have used SAP standard formula SAP002 (Prod: Machine time) wherein tick mark is activated for "Allowed for Scheduling" and same formula SAP002 has assigned in Scheduling Tab under Processing formula in both work Center.

Hi Mangalraj,

I have checked all this basic setting and processed in routing as you suggested but in vain.

Hi,

Have you already cross verified the data origin of parameters of standard value key SAP1?

Please compare it with the formula parameters in configuration.

Hi,

As I told alrady I am using Standard value key SAP1. Wherein Parameter SAP_02 is maintained which is SAP standard parameter. I have checked in parameter SAP_02 wherein origin is 2 - Standard value in the operation

Dear Rajesh,

Still I'm unable to conclude the reason, but one final try can you please delete the particular

operation, enter the same data -->work center--->operation timings in a new operation save the data

and check by creating a new planned order or production order or else go for scheduling in the

routing level itself,by selecting this menu path-->Extras--->scheduling--->schedule--->scheduling

type--->lot size = 1 and check the results.

Hi Mangalraj,

I have already tested formula in work center. But in workcenter itself total duration is not calculated which I have already mentioned in this thread. That means formula is not working.

I don't understand where is issue?

Hi,

Please check the following:

1. Check if your scheduling formulas are correctly maintained at work center level

2. Ensure no reduction is carried out by looking at the first tab in the order

3. Ensure no parallel sequence is maintained for the operations

4. Try to simulate with higher quantity and have a closer look at the minute level also and come back with your response.

Hi,

1. In work center, Standard value key SAP1 is assigned & standard SAP formula SAP006 & SAP002 maintained properly.

2. As there Float period is zero then no issue of Reduction. But even I have checked that reduction is not carried out.

3. There is no parallel sequence maintained for operation.

4. I have created order with unit 5000 to 10000 but even Start date & End date is same that is current date 03.10.2013

Hi Rajesh,

Please check whether said work center is already loaded with other operation on the same date. Could be due to capacity availability issues.

Hi,

No Jagamohan, Capacity is not loaded with other operation on same date. As I checked in CM01, % capacity load is Zero.

Hi,

If you follow strictly standard SAP, then maintain SAP005 and SAP006 under Capacity tab against Setup and Processing respectively and maintain SAP001 and SAP002 under Scheduling tab.
